    I’m guessing there was a big retail shortfall that’s been swooped on by an insto.

    If they release strong results after the CR is closed there will be some unhappy SH.

    If it’s a strong ann they should extend the CR take up date IMO.

    The best thing management could do at this point in time is to stop all the loss making mining and exploration activities, wait and see who ends up owning A1, and then sell Morningstar to that party for whatever they can get and leave AUL as a clean shell with no project but maybe a bit of cash, then they can try to rebuild the company from scratch and look to acquire some prospective greenfields exploration ground
    somewhere and start exploring. That is the only possible way that investors at this end of the market have a chance of getting the "10 bagger" that they are looking for, certainly not by trying to revive clapped out old mines that have sent previous operators broke, on multiple occasions. The only ones getting rich from that caper is management, and the asx is littered with this kind of rubbish.
