RM's salary was no secret, but it was also excessive - GROSSLY EXCESSIVE.
That many shareholders thought so was also no secret.
But genuine shareholders (like most of us) were locked out of having any influence in the company's affairs.
In fact (if you check the legal fine print) we weren't even shareholders. We had a "beneficial interest" in shares that were actually held by some other entity that WASN'T registered/incorporated in Australia - so possibly not under ASIC's jurisdiction.
We were stitched up from the start - and @mcfj - no amount of blustering apologetics in support of RM can alter that.

A CEO on a million dollars a year SHOULD HAVE BEEN capable of keeping his investors informed. He didn't.
A CEO on a million dollars a year SHOULD HAVE BEEN capable of filing legally required returns and reports when they were required. He didn't.
A CEO on a million dollars a year SHOULD HAVE BEEN capable of more fundamental honesty and character than to creep out the door at midnight and just disappear. He wasn't. This is not flaming, trolling or defamation - just a reminder of the facts.

The ONLY question of any relevance now is how many of you have lodged a formal complaint with ASIC or any other regulatory body in Australia, Hong Kong, or anywhere else, to have this matter properly investigated and if criminal activity (such as fraud) is detected, the perpetrator(s) brought to account.
