Some Yank called Winn has stepped in and Ted Pretty has gone. A significant structural shake-up with the new COO.
The declaration that Telstra has actually figured out people like using mobile phones and broadband instead of land lines should not be a surprise. I definately picked the response to this incorrectly.
I still think the stock is massively under valued. Opinions?

TLS is not a growth stock. They are the major player already in the telecommunications industry and they only really stand to loose or hold their current market position.
BUT TLS is a very very good income producing share. They are good value for income at $4.70-$4.75. At this level you can be sure that the dividends are going to be earning a nice little percentage ( about 6-7% ). The problem is 6-7% a year is not much of a return considering the stock has very little growth potential.
One area which could cause TLS to move higher is when it becomes fully privatised. This pushed it up to the $5.00 the last time is speculated it might happen. The problem is no one knows when it will happen and this causes problems for the share price. People don't like the unknown.
Saying all this I do own and will acquire more TLS in the next few days, months, years as it is a market leader, it has a good dividend yeild and when selling calls/puts against it I can make a tidy little sum (approx an extra 6-8%).
Good Luck Trading it...
