    Copper prices fell back below $5,000 per tonne in early trading on the London Metal Exchange as bearish sentiment continued from Thursday afternoons kerb trading. Three-month copper opened at the trade on Friday at $5,030 per tonne after settling at $5,019/20 per tonne in the official session on Thursday. Copper traded down as low as $4,956 per tonne and traded no higher than $5,068 per tonne in Fridays early trading. Prices had dropped below $5,000 in Thursday afternoons trading after weak US jobs data knocked confidence across financial markets. The US July 4 holiday is also contributing to this mornings weaker prices, one category II trading
