Even CBD strains of cannabis are illegal to grow or use here in Australia, without any THC.
Yet, it is in the Bible, given from God to Moses, as anointing/healing oil.
I finally had appointment with a GP that is now involved with medicinal cannabis, but because my reason for wanting legal cannabis,I was trying to stay alive, counter the cancer, she could not help me, as only if on last legs or for pain, that she could prescribe.
Unbelievable that cannabis products illegal for healing oneself.

Study: CBD May be Effective in the Treatment of Painful Diabetic Neuropathy
By Anthony Martinelli in News, Studies
    March 27, 2019
According to a new study being published by the journal Brain Research, and epublished online by the National Institute of Health, cannabidiol (CBD) ” may be effective in the treatment of painful diabetic neuropathy “.
“Most diabetic patients describe moderate to severe pain symptoms whose pharmacological treatment is palliative and poorly effective”, states the study’s abstract. “Cannabidiol (CBD) has shown promising results in painful conditions.” With this in mind, researchers “aimed to investigate the potential antinociceptive effect of CBD over the mechanical allodynia in streptozotocin-induced diabetic (DBT) rats, as well as its involved mechanisms.

    What is Hemp-Derived CBD?
HempWorx products are made from industrial hemp plants grown on Kentucky farms. Cannabidiol (CBD), a constituent that naturally occurs in industrial Hemp, is just one of over 85 cannabinoids that is identified in the cannabis plant. Our oil is CO2 extracted resulting in a solvent free, pure extract.
Why are these freely available CBD USA products not allowed to be Imported into Australia

Look, for most states it seems 50 grams or less.....is not worth the paperwork.....WA however, is 10 grams or less.....bit out of touch. Personally, I can't remember reading about anyone being done here in WA for personal use - for years. I am not saying it never happens.....just that I don't know about it. A few have been done for dealing, or growing - on massive scales....That has made the press.

If I was ill, and felt the drug would make me feel better.....bloody oath...I'd be getting my 50 grams as often as I needed it....I wouldn't be worrying about.....The Law. It has enough to do - dealing with ice-addicts, cocaine and heroin users.....which have no medicinal value....Go for it...under the circumstances you'd likely have lawyers lining up pro bono - to represent you if some dumb-ass prosecution were to occur.....

Drinking litres of toxic sugar laden alcohol causes obesity and ids toxic to every organ and cell in the human body and fat gutted beer swilling brain damaged morons are a national icon in Australia . IMO anyone on welfare who spends one red cent on grog tobacco or gambling should lose their welfare entitlements for life .

If it is ok for Australia to arrest hundreds of thousands of motorists and sack hundreds of thousands of Australian workers for smoking marijuana then the same zero tolerance approach should be applied to all legal drug users.

I have to feel so sorry for those that I see at our local Cancer Hospital at Albury, that are seeing oncologists or getting chemo, as most that I have asked if they are aware of cannabis oil, are not aware of.
Myself, I informed my oncologist, surgeon, etc, about last July, that I would access cannabis oil when possible, and that was OK with my oncologist, in conjunction with chemo that I have been having since Oct 2016 for stage 4 rectal cancer, metasticised to my liver.
So, if you read up about cannabis oil and understand how it is supposed to work within our bodies, to me, it is a no brainer that everyone with a lot of varying diseases, should be adding an extra string to their bow, so to speak, to increase their chance of survival and/or healing.
Since accessing cannabis oil last Sep., my cancer count has decreased and my last petscan shows "no cancer" showing, .... but everything a "momentary' thing as expressed by my oncologist, and also hard to actually pin point an exact reason for improvement, etc.
So, I am still on fortnightly chemo, as never had surgery as there were problems stopping me from having surgery, but I am a walking miracle really, due to good oncologist, nurses and surgeons, and prayer, and lucky and grateful to be still above the ground.

It was amazing really, as when I started to access cannabis oil, other local people came out of the woodwork to help me as well.
One bloke was making oil for his sister's cancer and she was still alive and doing OK, ... he gave me about 5 mls.
Another local gave me a few grams of bud material that I made into my first cannabis butter.
Another bloke who has been helping others with cancer, gave me a small block of cannabis butter.
A young woman that had survived terminal brain tumours and surgeries, and was now OK, gave me 6 left over cannabis oil capsules, that I also added to my own cannabis butter.
Others gave me seeds to grow and another sent me a few 5 and 10ml syringes filled with oil he had made.
From my experience, it looks like even using a small amount of cannabis oil , and not building your amount up to 1 gm per day, as advised by Rick Simpsom, can help regarding cancer, ie, it may work homeopathically IMO , as the amount that I have had is probably the equivalent of only a couple of drops per day, ... (and not 20 drops, equivalent to a gram).

I know a bloke who was injured at work and used marijuana to treat the pain , his employer illegally conspired with the insurance company drug tested the poor bastard and sacked him to stop his right to modified light duties at work , he lost his job and his workers compensation was stopped years ago that poor bastard and thousands like him are now homeless and reliant on welfare . The ongoing abusers and injustices that occur because of prohibition of marijuana are way too numerous and multi faceted for an optimistic youngster to understand , prohibition of marijuana is a human rights abuse .

So is that your proof that "hundreds of thousands" of people have been sacked for smoking pot?
    One case?
And how did his employer know that he was smoking pot?
Was he smoking it at work or coming to work off his face?
If he was smoking it at work or coming to work stoned no wonder they gave him the bullet.
That is like going to work pissed.
    It's a safety issue.

Medicinal cannabis is already a thriving industry in many countries, helping to treat thousands of people living with chronic pain, cancer, HIV/AIDS, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and other serious conditions.

Medicinal cannabis was legalised in Israel in the early 1990s and Israel is still home to the world’s most sophisticated cannabis research and development institutions. Since then, Denmark; the Czech Republic; France; Germany; Greece; the Republic of Ireland; Italy; and Slovakia have all pursued some form of medicinal legalisation.

In the Americas, Argentina; Brazil; Chile; Columbia; Peru and Uruguay have all made bold steps towards providing their citizens with medicinal cannabis treatments in the last few years. And the Mexican Government has also announced their intention to legalise

fuz people can test positive to marijuana weeks months or the day after they used marijuana , there is no way to determine if people who test positive to marijuana are intoxicated .
