The racial inequality in the US is all about dope - sure. It has nothing to with the horrendous amount of black crime there....just like the BLM movement ignores the horrendous amount of aboriginal crime here. You should use that bong beyond ludicrous.

Slavery never ended in America the whites had their feet on necks in the cotton fields and nothing has changed . The conservatives are desperate to keep unfair drug laws in place most police in America have never investigated a crime, arresting and jailing drug users who are the victims of drug dealers is far easier than investigating crime and arresting actual criminals . The drug war allows all sorts of human rights abuses to occur and the evidence shows that the overwhelming majority of 3 strike marijuana users serving unfair unjust 25 year sentences are African Americans.

Can you post us a link where anyone in the US (white, black, or purple) is serving a 25 year sentence for marijuana? Just one will do do......

Setekh "ive always like Port Macquarie, the beaches and walks are amazing. But the lack of any decent pub or bars drops it down a few points for tourists."

that true ... my waterholes were the Irish pub Finnians ... free bands on the weekends & a decent TAB set up if you feel like a punt ... and there's an outdoor pub overlooking the river

bookings in the Air BnB are back to normal although we've had to charge a little extra because of the extra cleaning after each guest

The issue with increasing AirBnB prices is that hotels and motels are cheaper than ever trying to encourage guests back. I usually stay in AirBnB as its an overall better more homely experience, but 2 weeks ago on a drive up to Tenterfield for camping, i stopped in Armadale for the night and the price for a newly renovated king suite in a hotel was only $100/night.

That said, i would not stay in a hotel for more than 1 or 2 nights, thats where an Airbnb wins every time.

there's some great rooms in country pubs, for sure ... farm stays are becoming popular, and the WWOOF directory is brilliant, lots of backpackers used it (when there used to be backpackers) & the farmers get some cheap labour in exchange (plus get to meet some nice Swedish girls LOL) https://wwoof.com.au/

Hotels student accommodations units etc etc all empty our newly unemployed youth are being forced home to mummy and daddy in droves. , giving the government grog and gambling tax is not a sustainable economy Australia is broke and now has debts we can never repay and the answer to this is build more unit towers that unemployed people cant afford to live in. , if Trump gets a second term I expect the Chinese will punish Australia financially until 2025 .

Lots of empty shelves and business that are finding it hard to get goods from China and Asia my favourite coconut water has disappeared from Coles there is an entire row of sugary carbonised drinks that are real bad for peoples health , most of our unemployed only skill set is milk every dollar they can defrauding welfare payments . Employers are finding it harder to get workers paying dole bludgers 500 a week to be idle and get drunk is unsurprisingly proving to be poor economic policy .

Australia to acquire long-range missiles as PM warns of dangerous post-Covid-19 world
Scott Morrison will outline a more muscular defence posture in an increasingly contested Indo-Pacific region

Australia’s defence force is set to acquire long-range missiles and research hypersonic weapons systems, as Scott Morrison warns the country to prepare for a more dangerous post-Covid-19 world and an increasingly contested Indo-Pacific region.

The Australian prime minister will use a speech on Wednesday to outline a more muscular defence posture, arguing the ADF needs “stronger deterrence capabilities” as the Indo-Pacific becomes “the focus of the dominant global contest of our age” amid tensions between China and the United States.

We need a good war to take our minds off the bush fires & plaque.
