Berlin wants to reduce gas use by 2% with new regulations - officials

    https://au.investing.com/news/commodities-news/berlin-wants-to-reduce-gas-use-by-2-with-new-regulations--officials-2637753

now there are some major problems with this policy ( apart from being Green-tinged )

this assumes that Russia will renew existing contracts ( and i suspect there is not a chance in Hell of that ) it also resumes Russian gas flow will normalize during the turbine maintenance debacle ( good luck with that )
Germany is still on track to close ALL of it's nuclear power plants ( probably a good idea since the Ukraine keeps trying to shell them .. so far only in Ukraine but Zelenski seems to have no boundaries )

AND these regulations seem to have no time limit ( to end ) which will imply AT LEAST a 2% drop in their economy ( the strongest economy in basket-case EU )
